SEC. 1615. INAPPLICABILITY OF REQUIREMENT
TO REVIEW AND JUSTIFY CERTAIN CONTRACTS.
In the case of a contract to which the provisions of section 46 of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 657s) apply, the requirements under section 802 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 (Public Law 112-239; 126 Stat. 1824; 10 U.S.C. 2304 note) do not apply.

Inapplicability of requirement to review
and justify certain contracts (sec. 1615) The House bill contained a provision (sec. 1611) that would dismiss the requirements stated in section 802 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 pertaining to the provisions of section 46 of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 657s). The purpose of this provision is to reduce the number of unnecessarily duplicative reports. The Senate committee-reported bill contained no similar provision. The agreement contains the provision. Added by amendment after House Report was issued. |
