Three-year extension of authority for Joint
Urgent Operational Needs Fund (sec. 860)
The Senate committee-reported bill contained a provision (sec. 863) that would reauthorize the Joint Urgent Operational Needs Fund for three more years. The House bill contained no similar provision. The agreement includes the Senate provision. S. Rept. 113-176 to accompany S. 2410 Three-year extension of authority for Joint Urgent Operational Needs Fund (sec. 863) The committee recommends a provision that would extend by 3 years the Joint Urgent Operational Needs Fund, which is available to the Secretary of Defense for providing equipment, supplies, services, training, and facilities to resolve urgent operational needs. |
