Study and report on contracts awarded to
minority-owned and women-owned businesses (sec. 890)
The House amendment contained a provision (sec. 848) that would require the Comptroller General of the United States to perform a study on the number and types of contracts for the procurement of goods or services for the Department of Defense awarded to minority-owned and women-owned businesses during fiscal years 2010 through 2015. The report would be due to the congressional defense committees no later than 1 year after the enactment date of this Act. The Senate bill contained no similar provision. The Senate recedes. |
