SEC. 886. COMPTROLLER GENERAL REPORT ON
CONTRACTOR VIOLATIONS OF CERTAIN LABOR LAWS. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General of the United States shall submit a report to Congress on the number of contractors--

Comptroller General report on
contractor violations of certain labor laws (sec. 886) The House amendment contained a provision (sec. 899F) that would require the Comptroller General of the United States to deliver a report to the Congress on the number of Department of Defense contractors who have been found by the Department of Labor to have committed violation of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (Public Law 91-596) or the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (Public Law 75-718). The Senate bill contained no similar provision. The Senate recedes. |
