SEC. 832. MODIFICATION OF ENHANCED TRANSFER OF TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPED AT DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE LABORATORIES. Section 801(e) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014 (10 U.S.C. 2514 note) is amended-- (1) by redesignating subsection (e) as subsection (f); (2) by striking subsection (d) and inserting the following new subsections: ``(d) Data Collection.--The Secretary of Defense shall develop and implement a plan to collect and analyze data on the use of authority under this section for the purposes of-- ``(1) developing and sharing best practices; and ``(2) providing information to the Secretary of Defense and Congress on the use of authority under this section and related policy issues. ``(e) Report.--The Secretary of Defense shall submit a report to the congressional defense committees on the activities carried out under this section not later than December 31, 2025.''; and(3) in subsection (f) (as so redesignated), by striking ``December 31, 2021'' and inserting ``December 31, 2026''.	Modification of enhanced transfer of technology developed at Department of Defense laboratories (sec. 832) The House bill contained a provision (sec. 821) that would modify enhanced transfer of technology developed at Department of Defense laboratories.
