SEC. 863. INCREASE IN GOVERNMENTWIDE GOAL FOR PARTICIPATION IN FEDERAL CONTRACTS BY SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS OWNED AND CONTROLLED BY SERVICE-DISABLED VETERANS. Section 15(g)(1)(A)(ii) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 644(g)(1)(A)(ii)) is amended by striking ``3 percent'' and inserting ``5 percent''. |
Sec. 863--Increase in Governmentwide goal for participation in Federal contracts by small business concerns owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans The Senate amendment contained a provision (sec. 851) that would increase to 5 percent the Government-wide goal for participation in Federal contracts by small business concerns owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans. The House bill contained no similar provision. The House recedes. S. Rept. 118-58 Note: There is no Section 851 in the Senate bill. |
