SEC. 806. APPLICABILITY OF COMPETITION EXCEPTIONS TO ELIGIBILITY OF NATIONAL GUARD FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR PERFORMANCE OF ADDITIONAL DUTIES.Section 113(b)(1)(B) of title 32, United States Code, is amended by inserting before the period at the end the following: ", subject to the exceptions provided in section 2304(c) of title 10’’. |
The Senate amendment contained a provision (sec. 863) that would clarify that exceptions to competition requirements provided in the Competition in Contracting Act (10 U.S.C 2304), apply to support activities provided by the Army National Guard under the authority of section 113(b) of title 32, United States Code. The House bill contained no similar provision. The House recedes. |
