The Senate amendment contained a provision (sec. 822) that would extend for five years the pilot Mentor-Protégé program established by section 831 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1991 (Public Law 101-510). The House bill contained no similar provision. The House recedes with an amendment requiring a review of the implementation and effectiveness of the Mentor-Protégé Program. |
